Fluid Volume Reporting Data Entry Specialist:
On behalf of our client in the oil and gas (SAGD) industry, Procom is searching for a Fluid Volume Reporting Data Entry Specialist. This is a contingent worker position based in Calgary, Alberta.

Fluid Volume Reporting Data Entry Specialist - Job Description:
This role covers daily data entry of all fluid transfers into the Energy Components program for Foster Creek, Christina Lake, and Sunrise. The successful candidate will also help develop Fluid Volume Reporting processes and procedures to support the team's efficiency and effectiveness.

Fluid Volume Reporting Data Entry Specialist - Responsibilities:

Daily:

• Retrieve and collate all truck tickets by company and date
• Review all tickets and enter 60 to 100 truck/pipeline tickets daily into Energy Components (EC)
• Scan tickets for missing information and ensure all processed data is complete
• Research missing information in archived files, through calls to Fluid Haul Dispatch departments and stakeholders, or by other methods
• Enter preliminary information (company name, date, unit, etc.)
• Verify the source and destination of fluid
• Accurately enter all information into Energy Components
• Review daily entries for accuracy and completeness
• Gather all special projects, such as propane and butane, from various sources
• Troubleshoot data anomalies with Production Accountants and amend incorrect ticket entries

Monthly and Other:

• Compile Third Party Disposal Reports for Foster Creek, Christina Lake, and Sunrise, and reconcile with internal records
• Reconcile rig reports (ensuring truck tickets agree to Well View data)
• Retain all tickets in accordance with FVR team procedures
• Contact the Drilling Waste team to ensure receipt of all tickets for month-end reporting
• Encourage a continuous improvement culture by seeking to improve performance and work processes to be better, more efficient, effective, and safer
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders such as Fluid Haul, Production Accounting, Measurement, and Environmental Operations

Fluid Volume Reporting Data Entry Specialist - Mandatory Skills:

• Experience using the Energy Components field data capture system
• Working knowledge of SAGD operations
• Technical competency in Energy Components, Well View, MS Outlook, and MS Excel
• Knowledge of Directive 7 (Volumetric and Infrastructure Requirements), Directive 17 (Measurement Requirements for Oil and Gas Operations), and Directive 42 (Measurement, Accounting and Reporting Plan)
• Knowledge of Disposal Waste Manifests processes
• Knowledge of SAGD site wells, pads, tanks, sumps, berms, burrows, pits, salt caverns, battery codes, etc.
• Demonstrated leadership and competency in work practices, policies, and procedures
• Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
