Contract IT Project Manager:
Procom is searching for a Contract IT Project Manager for a 12 month contract. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Calgary office.

Contract IT Project Manager - Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Contract Project Manager to lead the delivery of large, complex enterprise technology and business transformation initiatives. This role involves providing strategic leadership and oversight for high-profile programs, ensuring successful delivery through effective planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Contract IT Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology and business transformation programs.
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with defined business objectives.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, controls, reporting, and risk management processes.
• Provide strong leadership across cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, technology teams, systems integrators, and external vendors.
• Develop, maintain, and manage strategic program roadmaps aligned with business priorities and corporate objectives.
• Manage relationships with systems integrators, consulting partners, and third-party vendors.

Contract IT Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• 15+ years of progressive project and program management experience.
• Strong Prosci process and management experience.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership skills.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Strong background managing executive stakeholders and steering committees.
• PMP certification preferred.

Contract IT Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• SAFe certification.
• ITIL certification.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract management experience.

Contract IT Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a contract role for 12 months.
