Contract Project Controller - CoGen:
On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Contract Project Controller - CoGen for a multi-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Lloydminster office.

Contract Project Controller - CoGen - Job Description:
The Contract Project Controller will support the Project Manager during major outage activities by providing real-time cost tracking, forecasting, and financial analysis. The role involves maintaining an Excel-based cost control model to track costs against budget and forecast final project costs.

Contract Project Controller - CoGen - Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update project cost control models and reporting tools.
• Track actual costs against approved budgets and purchase orders.
• Develop and maintain forecast-at-completion cost projections.
• Collect, review, and validate contractor LEM submissions.
• Monitor workforce counts and generate productivity and burn-rate reporting.
• Analyze spending trends and identify potential cost overruns.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports.
• Participate in daily turnaround and project coordination meetings.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Schedulers, Planners, and Finance teams.

Contract Project Controller - CoGen - Mandatory Skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong SAP experience.
• Experience supporting industrial turnarounds or capital projects.
• Strong understanding of project cost control and financial reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Contract Project Controller - CoGen – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with contractor Labor, Equipment, and Material (LEM) data.
• Familiarity with safety metrics and operational statistics.
• Knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience with remote and onsite project environments.
• Ability to manage large volumes of data.

Contract Project Controller - CoGen – Assignment Length:
This is a multi-year contract position ending on December 31, 2028.
