Contract Project Planner / Scheduler:
Procom is searching for a Contract Project Planner / Scheduler for a 12-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Contract Project Planner / Scheduler - Job Description:
The Project Planner / Scheduler will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining detailed project schedules that ensure alignment across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning functions. This role supports the standardization of planning and scheduling processes, providing analytical insights to project teams and ensuring consistent reporting of schedule performance and forecasting across all assets.

Contract Project Planner / Scheduler - Responsibilities:
• Support planning and scheduling activities across multiple projects and operating assets
• Develop and maintain Level I–IV integrated project schedules
• Integrate schedules from various teams to align with project execution strategies
• Support resource loading and forecasting for assigned schedules
• Manage schedule changes through the established change management system
• Perform critical path and variance analysis
• Implement progress measurement tools to monitor schedule performance

Contract Project Planner / Scheduler - Mandatory Skills:
• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6
• Advanced understanding of EPC project lifecycles
• Strong analytical skills in schedule health checks and resource forecasting
• Knowledge of construction sequencing and field execution practices
• Proficient in schedule risk analysis tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Minimum 10+ years of scheduling experience on major capital projects

Contract Project Planner / Scheduler – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• On-site/field experience within large-scale industrial projects
• Experience in integrating schedules across multiple contractors
• Skilled in developing progress dashboards and performance indicators
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities
• Strong business acumen

Contract Project Planner / Scheduler – Assignment Length:
Initial 12-month contract with potential extension.
