Contract Wells Analyst:
On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Contract Wells Analyst for a contingent worker role. This position is onsite at our client’s Calgary office.
Contract Wells Analyst - Job Description:
The Contract Wells Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements to apply for well licensing, submitting regulatory reporting, and managing data from license acquisition through to reclamation certification. This role involves working with asset teams to ensure compliance and timely submission of well licensing applications.
Contract Wells Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Work with asset teams to ensure well licensing applications are compliant and submit applications for licenses and amendments.
• Submit required drilling/completion information to the Regulator and record key well lifecycle elements in Generwell.
• Update and maintain Well File throughout its life cycle.
• Submit required abandonment information to the regulator and record in Generwell.
• Receive reclamation certificates, record in Generwell, and update Well File status in CS Land.
• Manage well status changes such as start-ups and suspensions.
• Receive, file, and submit all well tests to the regulator.
• Track, send, and receive downhole information to and from partners.
Contract Wells Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Certification in Petroleum Land or technical training in well-related focus.
• 7-10 years of experience in well reporting or as a well technician, Drilling & Completions Technician.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and well licensing expertise.
• Ability to analyze downhole information for regulatory submissions.
• Experience managing multiple timelines for various lifecycle stages.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Alberta and Saskatchewan downhole reporting.
Contract Wells Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Generwell software.
• Exposure to working with wells in multiple provinces in Western Canada.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork abilities.
• Accessibility in handling high-volume workloads.
