The Contract Worksite Leader provides site leadership for all routine turnaround (T/A) and major maintenance activities from execution to close-out. Reporting to the CHO Senior Maintenance Coordinator, this role ensures timely, effective, and safe maintenance aligned with CHO corporate objectives, standards, and safety protocols. As part of Work management and Continuous improvement process, they will be stewards to execution of work packages, safe work plans and vendor management.
Schedule: Monday to Friday 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
The Contract Worksite Leader provides site leadership for all routine and major maintenance activities from execution to close-out. Reporting to the CHO Senior Maintenance Coordinator, this role ensures timely, effective, and safe maintenance aligned with CHO corporate objectives, standards, and safety protocols. Execution and safety performance are tracked against defined milestones to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
Deliverables/ Accountabilities:
Safety & Reliability Compliance
• Supervise and coordinate work to ensure safety and efficiency, aligning all activities with company policies.
• Oversee SCOW (Safe Control of Work) processes, ensuring proper permits and safety measures are in place.
• Report safety incidents in accordance with COIMS Element 8 Incident Management Process.
• Act as the primary contact for safety audits and procedural compliance during maintenance activities.
• Conduct LOD (Line of Defense) activities, monitor safety barriers, and implement control measures.
• Ensure safety-critical equipment and processes are maintained to prevent incidents.
• Provide technical insights, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions to improve safety and efficiency.
Work Management
• Attend daily morning notification meetings to discuss upcoming tasks, risks, and resource allocation.
• Validate vendor work completion and ensure accurate logging and updates in Salesforce.
• Confirm and close work orders in SAP or Salesforce, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
• Support the work management process by identifying issues, weekly schedules, reviewing backlog, and recommending improvements.
Scheduling and Execution of Work
• Monitor job progress, validate completion, and ensure adherence to project timelines and PM compliance.
• Report on production-impacting maintenance activities.
• Conduct and review risk assessments for high-risk and non-routine tasks.
• Serve as the main field contact for vendors performing maintenance or repair work.
• Coordinate vendor activities to align with site safety policies and project specifications.
• Provide updates on high-impact work and identify potential bottlenecks or risks.
• Perform hands-on tool work when necessary to support maintenance activities.

Qualifications / Experience:
Required:
• Working knowledge of work management, construction and TAR processes in execution and close out.
• Strong communications, interpersonal and teambuilding skills
• Safe Control of work, Asset Risk management and LOD experience
Preferred:
• Execution experience and familiar with all industry practices, codes, and standards
• Previous supervisory / team leader experience
• SAP, Salesforce experience confirming, closing, monitoring costs and work identification
• Contractor and stakeholder coordination
Work Environment
Physical: Field role with office base. 15% computer time, 60% field time in plant monitoring work, 15% in meetings with support groups, 10% employee/ vendor interaction with personal.
Environmental: Fast paced and high workload.
