Contractor - Patient Access Scheduling:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Contractor - Patient Access Scheduling for an intermediate role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Hinsdale, Illinois office.

Contractor - Patient Access Scheduling - Job Description:
This role involves managing patient access scheduling at the Hinsdale Clinic. The contractor will be responsible for scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments, as well as verifying insurance and sending reminders to patients. The clinic operates two Saturdays a month, and the contractor will be required to work one of those Saturdays.

Contractor - Patient Access Scheduling - Responsibilities:
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule patient appointments as assigned
• Place reminder calls or send information to patients in advance of their appointments per office policy
• Check in and outpatients
• Verify patient insurance
• Send reminder messages and calls

Contractor - Patient Access Scheduling - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in scheduling software
• Ability to verify insurance
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Teamwork and collaboration

Contractor - Patient Access Scheduling – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in a healthcare setting
• Familiarity with FMLA regulations
• Bilingual abilities
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Customer service experience

Contractor - Patient Access Scheduling – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position for 3-4 months.
