On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Contracts Manager - Junior for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Westlake, Texas office.

Contracts Manager - Junior - Job Description:
Corporate Vendor Management at Charles Schwab & Co. is responsible for implementing a firm-wide, end-to-end vendor management process to maximize vendor performance and value. As a Senior Manager on the Risk and Controls team in Corporate Vendor Management (CVM), you will lead and enhance CVMs oversight of third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating potential risks.

Contracts Manager - Junior - Responsibilities:
• Execute a robust third-party risk management framework to assess, monitor, and mitigate vendor risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic approach to risk
• Drive completion of risk assessments and identify obstacles to contracting
• Ensure risk assessment reviews are thorough and confirm completion of due diligence
• Participate in policy and procedure adjustments to address evolving risks
• Conduct regular risk reporting and escalate critical vendor risks to leadership
• Develop and deliver risk discussions and awareness sessions for stakeholders

Contracts Manager - Junior - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years professional experience in vendor management, risk management, internal audit
• 2+ years experience in a highly regulated financial services environment
• Strong understanding of risk frameworks, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
• Professional certification(s) in risk management
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Contracts Manager - Junior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of emerging vendor risks such as AI ethics, ESG risks, and geopolitical risk
• Knowledge of internal controls and financial/banking regulations
• Experience with SAP Ariba (Cloud version)
• Proficiency in third-party risk management tools and technologies
• Ability to handle ambiguity and implement new requirements

Potential extension for the right candidate, with the potential to be contract to perm.
