Job Description

On behalf of our corporate client, Procom is searching for a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 5 month contract with possible extensions/conversion to perm. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Houston, Texas office.

CORP - Talent Acquisition Specialist - Job Description:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for various requisitions, focusing on sourcing and attracting diverse candidates for corporate and business teams. The role involves driving the talent acquisition process, setting strategic expectations, and ensuring a great candidate experience.

CORP - Talent Acquisition Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Partner with leaders, hiring managers, and the recruiting team to forecast hiring requirements.
• Develop relationships with clients and assess needs to identify key talent.
• Implement recruiting strategies to attract qualified and diverse talent.
• Screen and interview candidates for role requirements and cultural fit.
• Provide a world-class candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Partner with the Onboarding team for smooth candidate transitions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of recruiting activities.
• Engage in staffing-related projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Create relationships with colleges and organizations for diverse candidate recruitment.

CORP - Talent Acquisition Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• High School Diploma and 4 years of talent acquisition experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 1 year of experience.
• Experience with comprehensive sourcing/recruitment plans.
• Proficiency in Boolean search strings and internet research.
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions and priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

CORP - Talent Acquisition Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 years' experience in recruiting, with 1 year in a corporate environment.
• Experience creating presentations for groups of 10 or more.
• Experience sourcing talent for Manager and Director level positions.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Applicant Tracking System.
