Cross Domain Solutions Specialist Location: National Capital Region (Hybrid/On-Site as Required)
Security Clearance: Top Secret Clearance Required
Contract Duration: 5 Years + 5-Year Option Period (Up to 10 Years Total)

OBJECTIVE
The objective is leverage subject matter expertise in IT Network Services to evaluate, develop, support and implement technology for network infrastructure and systems.

SCOPE OF WORK
Canada requires the services of Contractors to for key technology directorate initiatives including new projects and infrastructure support.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Modify and prepare operational procedures and network and configuration documentation as needed.
• Developing build guides for new systems
• Deploying/configuring CDS Guards/Diodes
• Developing Standard Operating Procedures
• Responding to incident tickets
• Building cross domain solutions which includes building Linux servers, installing configuring security appliances IDS/IPS, content filtering solutions, Apache Nifi Data Flows
• Maintaining our Enterprise Security Solution
• Patching/Updating Security appliances/Servers
• Configuring monitoring for security devices/servers, Syslog /Splunk implementation
• Meet with the Unit Head and provide written and verbal documentation as to the status of tasks assigned on an as needed and as required basis.
• Participate in any assigned projects and strategic planning activities.
• Provide skills transfer / training to Service employees in all aspects of maintaining Microsoft Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Senior Cross Domain Solutions Specialist
• University undergraduate degree or diploma or Ten (10) years of progressive experience in IT.
• A minimum of ten years’ experience working with cross domain solutions.
• A minimum of ten years in TCP/IP, routing, firewalls.
• A minimum of ten years’ experience using content sanitization tools and reconstruction (CDR) tools (ex: Purifile, Glasswall) within a Cross Domain Solution context.
• A minimum of ten years’ experience in support system accreditation activities, including documentation, testing and compliance with relevant frameworks (ITSG-33).
• A minimum of ten years’ experience designing, deploying and maintaining cross domain solutions between networks of varying security classifications.
• A minimum of ten years’ experience deploying/configuring Data Diodes (ex: Blackline, Sphyrna, OWL, BAE).
• A minimum of ten years’ experience Linux server support/Administration and security hardening.
• A minimum of ten years’ experience developing and maintenance of SIEM dashboards, alerts, and reports to monitor CDS health, performance and security posture.
• A minimum of ten years’ experience scripting (ex: Python, Bash, java scripting).
• A minimum of ten years’ experience managing and designing high-throughput dataflows (Apache Nifi).
• A minimum of ten years’ experience deploying/configuring CDS Guards (ex: Everfox HSG/TGS)
