Cryptography Engineer x 2:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Cryptography Engineer for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Markham, Ontario office.

Cryptography Engineer x 2 - Job Description:
The Crypto Solution Validation Team is focused on the certification, design, development, and deployment of enterprise cryptographic automation solutions. This project involves automating key management, certificate lifecycle management, and other cryptographic operations to enhance efficiency and security.

Cryptography Engineer x 2 - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy automated solutions for cryptographic services and operations.
• Develop APIs and automation frameworks for seamless integration of cryptographic services.
• Evaluate and certify cryptographic products and platforms.
• Develop and maintain secure, high-quality code using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to cryptographic standards.

Cryptography Engineer x 2 - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of security-related technology experience.
• 3+ years in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, or related fields with a focus on automation and security.
• 5+ years of experience with scripting/programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• 5+ years of experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong time management and priority management skills.
• Attention to detail and adaptability.

Cryptography Engineer x 2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• CISSP certification.
• Experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for cryptographic operations.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic fundamentals, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption.
• Experience supporting Linux and/or Windows server environments.

Cryptography Engineer x 2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

ASAP.

Cryptography Engineer x 2 - Assignment Location:
Markham, Ontario, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days remote work, which may change to 4 days in the office.
