Cyber Data Management Lead:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Cyber Data Management Lead for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Cyber Data Management Lead - Job Description:
The Cyber Data Management Lead will spearhead data management initiatives within the Cyber domain, focusing on enhancing data governance, quality, and lifecycle management. The role involves optimizing Splunk usage, managing data issues, and implementing sustainable governance practices to improve control effectiveness and operational resilience.

Cyber Data Management Lead - Responsibilities:
• Lead data management for the Cyber domain, establishing strong relationships across various teams.
• Represent Cyber data priorities and issues in governance forums.
• Provide governance leadership for SailPoint, VCM POD, DMINE cloud, and other initiatives.
• Optimize Splunk assets and analyze utilization for cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct data analysis to identify gaps and control risks, ensuring data health.
• Manage data issues from identification to resolution, driving corrective controls.
• Establish governance across the Cyber data lifecycle, focusing on retention and archival.
• Oversee Cyber data onboarding and assess the impact of changes.

Cyber Data Management Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong Cyber Security domain knowledge.
• Advanced Splunk experience, including SPL, dashboards, and ingestion analysis.
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience with data quality and observability.
• Understanding of data lineage and lifecycle management.
• Working knowledge of cloud data environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Cyber Data Management Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with SailPoint/Identity & Access Management data.
• Familiarity with data engineering and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with Cyber controls and risk remediation.
• Understanding of storage and ingestion economics.
• Experience in regulated environments.
