Cyber Security Consultant

On behalf our client, Procom is seeking a consultant for an 6 month assignment- This is a hybrid role with 2 days in office per week in Vancouver, BC.

Cyber Security Consultant Job Details:

The Cyber Security Compliance Consultant  collaborates with service providers and security administrators in completing compliance sustainment activities such as IT audits to ensure the client's compliance with digital technology and cyber security regulations and policy.

Cyber Security Consultant Mandatory skills:

• A minimum five (5) years of working experience in Information Technology, at least three (3) years in cybersecurity or equivalent, and at least two (2) years in policy development and review.
• Knowledge and experience of NIST CSF / 800-53r5 / RMF / AI RMF, COBIT, ISO 27001/2, cloud security, and AI risk.
• Ability to identify control gaps with respect to policies and standards and make recommendations on prioritized actions in tailoring an appropriate set of policies and standards for BC Hydro.
• Develop and review policies and standards by working closely and collaboratively with stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor to address their issues and concerns as related to policy development, review, and implementation.
•  Assist in supporting other tasks required by cybersecurity and compliance programs or initiatives.

Cyber Security Consultant Assignment Length:

12 month contract to-start
