On behalf of our natural stone quarrying and manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a D365 Developer – Finance & Operations (F&O) for a role. This position is a remote position with D365 F&O users across its Canada and U.S.

D365 Developer – Finance & Operations (F&O) - Job Description:
Our client is seeking a D365 Developer to support and enhance its ERP environment. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining D365 F&O solutions to support the company's quarry-to-fabrication operations, from production and costing through finance and supply chain. 

D365 Developer – Finance & Operations (F&O) - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
• Work with Business Area users and IT leadership to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Formulate detailed program specifications using appropriate analysis and design methodology.
• Develop, test, and deploy configurations, enhancements, and code changes in accordance with best practices, company policies, and change management procedures.
• Support production and costing processes within D365 F&O, including work orders, bill of materials, routes, and cost accounting.
• Monitor ongoing system performance and develop updates or modifications to meet evolving business needs across finance, supply chain, and manufacturing.
• Provide production operation support, including system setup, data extraction, and troubleshooting of incidents and service requests.

D365 Developer – Finance & Operations (F&O) - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (X++, extensions, data entities, integrations).
• Solid understanding of core D365 F&O modules: Finance, Production Control, Cost Management, and Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with SQL databases and writing/optimizing queries.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting integrations (e.g., data management framework, Dual-Write, Power Platform, or Azure services).
• Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, security roles, and change management/deployment processes (LCS, DevOps pipelines).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.

D365 Developer – Finance & Operations (F&O) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment, ideally with make-to-order or process manufacturing.
• Experience with production and costing configurations specifically (standard costing, BOM/routes, shop floor control).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Experience supporting multi-site/multi-entity ERP environments (quarries, plants, distribution).
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 F&O.

D365 Developer – Finance & Operations (F&O) – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract role.
