On behalf of our Government Services Integration Cluster client, Procom is searching for a Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist – Senior for a 9-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist – Senior - Job Description:
The Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist – Senior will be responsible for evaluating new technologies, information systems, or proposed programs to ensure compliance with privacy laws and regulations. This role involves leading privacy assessments and mitigating risks associated with personal information in digital solutions.

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist – Senior - Responsibilities:
• Lead or support the development of privacy impact assessments
• Ensure compliance with provincial, municipal, federal, and private sector privacy legislation
• Determine and mitigate privacy risks
• Address clients' privacy concerns
• Collaborate with policy development teams to ensure privacy protections

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist – Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience in privacy legislation including FIPPA, PHIPA, PIPEDA
• Conducting privacy assessments involving personal information
• Leading privacy assessments for online and digital solutions
• Experience with third-party solutions and service integration providers
• Knowledge of OPS processes and templates

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist – Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Professional certification in IT security or architecture
• Experience providing education and training related to privacy
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and data protection
• Knowledge of OPS policies and procedures
• Experience with digital identity trust frameworks

Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist – Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 9-month contract position.
