Data Analyst
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2-3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Data Analyst - Job Description:
The Risk Strategy, Governance & Enablement team is seeking a Data Analyst to support a project-based initiative focused on risk transformation and AI rollout. The successful candidate will work on developing and enhancing analytics products and reporting solutions to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

Data Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports for various audiences.
• Analyze and transform data from multiple sources to create scalable reporting datasets.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models to support analytics requirements.
• Utilize Python for data processing automation and reporting workflows.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics requirements into solutions.
• Perform data quality assessments to ensure accuracy of analytics products.
• Contribute to Agile delivery practices including sprint planning and stand-ups.

Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Advanced experience with Power BI or Tableau (3 years)
• Experience in data transformation (3 years)
• Proficiency in Python or MS Query (3 years)
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail

Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with stakeholder interaction (3 years)
• Ability to create executive-level presentations
• Familiarity with risk management or banking domains
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure services

Data Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days in the office.
