Data Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst for a 2.5-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Data Analyst - Job Description:
The Data Analyst will work on EDM phase 2, Spire, and W360 upgrade projects. The role involves ensuring timely and accurate setup and delivery of securities to various applications to meet client requirements, focusing on the quality of production delivery and adherence to deadlines.

Data Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Provide a high level of service by responding to all client inquiries within a reasonable timeframe to maintain the company’s image and strengthen client retention
• Verify and confirm with vendor sources for any discrepancies in setup information
• Establish communication networks with all business units for the receipt of security setup data
• Set up various types of public and private securities (funds, bonds, money markets, etc.)
• Ensure that the end-of-day checking procedure for any same-day requests is completed, and existing procedures are followed and kept informed on all policies and compliance issues
• Review/monitor all setup issues to ensure timely follow-up and resolution
• Act as a team player, participate in the team’s cross-training activities, and provide coverage during staff absences
• Identify issues and problems and escalate immediately

Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree
• 3+ years of financial services experience
• Good knowledge of the securities industry, PC, and MS Excel skills
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Canadian Securities Course designation

Data Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a temporary position until October 31, 2026, approximately 2.5 months.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, onsite 5 days a week.
