On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a Data Analytical Specialist/Scientist - Senior for a 5-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Data Analytical Specialist/Scientist - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical project regarding the Ontario Data Platform (ODP) and AI transformation initiative. The project focuses on leveraging cutting-edge data platforms and technologies to drive AI transformation within the government sector.

Data Analytical Specialist/Scientist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support AI transformation initiatives
• Utilize Azure data tools, including Databricks and MLflow, for data analysis and modeling
• Develop and implement machine learning models using Python and relevant libraries
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making
• Contribute to the enhancement of the Ontario Data Platform

Data Analytical Specialist/Scientist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with Azure data tools - Azure, Databricks, MLflow, Python
• Exposure to LLM frameworks (DSPy, LangChain, Hugging Face, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with Python and libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, or PyTorch
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in mathematics and statistics

Data Analytical Specialist/Scientist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with government or large-scale enterprise environments
• Knowledge of AI transformation projects
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Familiarity with the Ontario Data Platform
• Experience with accessible data solutions

Data Analytical Specialist/Scientist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 5-month contract position.
