Data Governance/Data Quality Analyst, Capital Markets (SQL & Python):
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Data Governance/Data Quality Analyst, Capital Markets (SQL & Python) for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, ON office.

Data Governance/Data Quality Analyst, Capital Markets (SQL & Python) - Job Description:
As a Data Governance/DQ Analyst, you will be involved in managing Meta data and Data Quality within Capital Markets. The role focuses on adopting Data Governance and Data Quality principles to solve complex data issues and effectively capture and prioritize client requirements.

Data Governance/Data Quality Analyst, Capital Markets (SQL & Python) - Responsibilities:
• Support project and application management for Meta data and Data Quality
• Facilitate the adoption of Data Governance and Data Quality principles
• Identify and solve complex data issues
• Capture business needs and understand client requirements
• Work with end users to prioritize and implement Data Quality requirements

Data Governance/Data Quality Analyst, Capital Markets (SQL & Python) - Mandatory Skills:
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Commerce
• Capital Markets business knowledge
• Financial knowledge around Bank Data and Data Governance
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with IBM Information Analyzer & Cloud Pak for Data
• Familiarity with DataStage and AI
• Cloud Technology expertise

Data Governance/Data Quality Analyst, Capital Markets (SQL & Python) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Atacama
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Excellent communication skills
• Teamwork and problem-solving abilities
