Data & Reporting Specialist:
On behalf of our Professional client, Procom is searching for a Data & Reporting Specialist for a 6-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Data & Reporting Specialist - Job Description:
In this role, the Data & Reporting Specialist will support the development and maintenance of operational and analytical data solutions for the Student Services division. The project involves designing, building, and maintaining reporting systems across both legacy and new data systems as part of a business transformation supporting a new education program.

Data & Reporting Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Build operational and analytical data solutions, including datasets, queries, visualizations, KPIs, dashboards, and reports.
• Design and maintain reporting across both current and new program data sources, ensuring continuity and accuracy.
• Apply best practices in test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
• Partner with business units to understand data and reporting requirements.
• Develop a thorough understanding of internal business processes, source systems, and available data sources.

Data & Reporting Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Analytics, or Mathematics.
• 5+ years of experience in SQL programming.
• 5+ years of experience with Power BI.
• 3+ years of experience with Databricks or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience building reports within a CRM system.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Data & Reporting Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience in data warehousing or DataMart development.
• Experience with Unity Catalog and Hive Metastore.
• Knowledge of SQL Editor and Notebooks.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Data & Reporting Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

Data & Reporting Specialist - Start Date:
ASAP.

Data & Reporting Specialist - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.
