Data Science Developer-Healthcare:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Data Science Developer-Healthcare for a 7 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Data Science Developer-Healthcare - Job Description:
The new Data Science Developer role is part of the Agency Mental Health & Addiction program, focusing on delivering the Provincial Data Set version 2.0. This role involves developing data pipelines and analytics products to support critical ministry-related commitments.

Data Science Developer-Healthcare - Responsibilities:
• Analyze requirements, design, and code reports
• Develop scripts for using health system/administrative databases
• Design, create, and maintain cloud-based data analytics models and visualizations
• Liaise with project members to implement products and support clinical partners
• Analyze complex technical issues and recommend solutions
• Develop technical scripts aligned with Mental Health & Addiction Clinical priorities
• Maintain data pipelines supporting the Provincial Data Set (PDS) 2.0

Data Science Developer-Healthcare - Mandatory Skills:
• Background in health data and public-sector/government experience
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Azure, and Power BI
• Experience with large health system and administrative databases
• Ability to link datasets and build analytic cohorts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Data Science Developer-Healthcare – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in developing guidelines and best practices
• Familiarity with data privacy and governance requirements
• Experience in hybrid work environments
• Ability to resolve operational problems effectively
• Knowledge of cloud-based data and analytics products

Data Science Developer-Healthcare – Assignment Length:
This is a 7 month contract position.
