On behalf of our Government Service client, Procom is searching for a Data Scientist - Senior x2 for a 12-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Data Scientist - Senior x2 - Job Description:
This new Data Scientist role involves working on a critical project regarding data analytics and predictive modeling. The project focuses on developing and applying analytical frameworks to support business decision-making.

Data Scientist - Senior x2 - Responsibilities:
• Conduct data analytics, including relational databases and geospatial analysis
• Utilize analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and R Shiny
• Analyze, integrate, and interpret spatial and non-spatial datasets
• Develop predictive models and business intelligence solutions
• Support planning, compliance, reporting, and decision-making activities

Data Scientist - Senior x2 - Mandatory Skills:
• Knowledge of data analytics and relational databases
• Proficiency with analytics and visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
• Ability to analyze spatial and non-spatial datasets
• Experience in predictive modeling and geospatial analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Data Scientist - Senior x2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with ArcGIS
• Familiarity with R Shiny
• Background in public service projects
• Experience in teamwork and problem-solving
• Understanding of accessible data solutions

Data Scientist - Senior x2 – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
