On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Data Warehouse Software Developer for a contract position. 

Data Warehouse Software Developer - Job Description:
The Data Warehouse Software Developer II will support and enhance the IPE Data Warehouse environment. This role involves maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and developing scalable solutions using modern data platforms. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing development using SQL, Snowflake, and Azure technologies.

Data Warehouse Software Developer - Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily and weekly automated data processing jobs to ensure successful execution.
• Execute monthly business procedures related to data processing and reporting.
• Validate data accuracy and completeness across various systems.
• Investigate and diagnose failed jobs, performing root cause analysis and implementing fixes.
• Design, develop, and maintain stored procedures using SQL and Snowflake (including Python-based logic).
• Build and enhance Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines for data integration and transformation.
• Maintain and improve in-house applications developed in Python and Java.

Data Warehouse Software Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong experience with SQL and Snowflake
• Proficiency in Python and Java
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Functions
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git for CI/CD and version control
• Experience working in data warehousing or ETL environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Data Warehouse Software Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Power BI
• Knowledge of Power Automate and/or Azure Logic Apps
• Snowflake certification or equivalent experience

Data Warehouse Software Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract to start

ASAP.

Data Warehouse Software Developer - Assignment Location:
Toronto - Hybrid work arrangement requiring 2 days in the office.
