DataOps/Cloud Data Engineer – Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a DataOps/Cloud Data Engineer – Senior for a 9-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto office.

DataOps/Cloud Data Engineer – Senior - Job Description:
This project involves the optimization and development of cloud data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. The focus is on enhancing existing data pipelines and implementing new data management strategies to support business requirements.

DataOps/Cloud Data Engineer – Senior - Responsibilities:
• Participate in the review of project artefacts, including Use Cases and System Requirement Specifications
• Deliver detailed system design documents
• Design, develop, and optimize data/database CI/CD pipelines
• Prepare database changes in DACPAC and develop Azure CI/CD release pipelines
• Provision data in cloud environments
• Design and develop data loading, conversion, and migration programs
• Implement data conversion solutions for Very Large Data environments
• Plan, configure, and tune Oracle and Azure databases
• Develop and optimize Oracle PL/SQL programs and SQL Server stored procedures
• Monitor and analyze incidents and provide timely resolution
• Perform database administration activities

DataOps/Cloud Data Engineer – Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Expert experience with Microsoft Azure technologies such as Azure Pipelines, DACPAC, and Azure DevOps
• Experience in data pipeline development and workflow orchestration
• Experience with DataOps principles and CI/CD practices
• Expert database administration experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Database and Oracle
• Experience with data replication technologies involving Azure SQL and Oracle
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

DataOps/Cloud Data Engineer – Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Sybase Power Designer
• Knowledge of Agile project development
• Familiarity with data security best practices
• Experience with cloud-based heterogeneous data replication solutions
• Understanding of digital product data analysis

DataOps/Cloud Data Engineer – Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position until March 31, 2027.

DataOps/Cloud Data Engineer – Senior - Start Date:
ASAP.

DataOps/Cloud Data Engineer – Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
