Dayforce Payroll Configuration Consultant

On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Dayforce Payroll Configuration Consultant to support a contract opportunity focused on Dayforce Payroll configuration, optimization, and support.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Dayforce Payroll earnings, deductions, and payroll policies
• Configure payroll calculation parameters including Flat Amount, Percentage Of, Flat Amount Of, and Expression-Based calculations
• Set up payroll taxation, compliance mappings, and tax-related configurations
• Configure pay groups, payroll frequencies, and payroll mappings
• Troubleshoot payroll calculation discrepancies and employee pay issues
• Support annual payroll rate, tax, and percentage updates
• Develop and maintain complex expression-based earning and deduction logic
• Validate payroll outputs and support payroll testing, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities
• Collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Workforce Management teams to ensure accurate payroll processing
• Support Dayforce implementation, enhancement, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Document configurations, testing results, and process improvements
• Participate in client meetings, workshops, and project activities as required

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Dayforce Payroll configuration experience
• Strong understanding of payroll calculation methodologies and payroll processing
• Experience configuring:
  • Earnings and deductions
  • Payroll policies
  • Taxation and compliance settings
  • Pay groups and payroll frequencies
  • Payroll mappings
• Experience troubleshooting payroll processing and payroll calculation issues
• Knowledge of payroll taxation and compliance requirements
• Experience supporting payroll testing, validation, and reconciliation activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience configuring complex expression-based payroll calculations
• Experience supporting multi-jurisdiction or multi-provincial payroll environments
• Dayforce Payroll certification preferred
• Experience integrating Workforce Management (WFM) and Payroll modules
• Previous experience supporting Dayforce implementation or enhancement projects
