Operations Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Operations Analyst for an 18-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Operations Analyst - Job Description:
This role involves managing and analyzing USD dollar payments flow for main trading Nostro accounts. The project is a Business-As-Usual (BAU) role providing maternity leave coverage, ensuring smooth operations and risk mitigation in the Funding and Money Market Middle Office.

Operations Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Manage, analyze, and direct USD dollar payments flow using applications like Intraday Liquidity Tool (IDL) and Liquidity Control Manager (LCM).
• Investigate exceptional Nostro account balances under TD Securities.
• Manage the Daily Funding Requirement platform and internal funding relationship setups.
• Assist manager in approving and releasing daily transactions.
• Provide guidance to Junior Analysts when issues arise.
• Manage change and deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.
• Identify, understand, and manage risk appropriately.

Operations Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 1 year of relevant operations experience in financial, Big 4, or banking sectors.
• Undergraduate degree in Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Quick learner.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Operations Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Major Banking experience.
• Master’s Degree.

Operations Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is an 18-month contract position with a possibility of extension but no guarantee.

Operations Analyst - Start Date:
ASAP.

Operations Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days onsite.
