Deal Architect / Procurement Strategy – Digital Workplace Solutions:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Deal Architect / Procurement Strategy – Digital Workplace Solutions for a contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Burnaby, British Columbia office.

Job Description:
The project involves the strategic assessment and planning for the next-generation Digital Workplace Services model across British Columbia's health sector. This role is focused on developing a modular, outcomes-based service architecture to enhance service delivery following the expiry of the current WEST agreement.

Responsibilities:
• Translate future service and operating models into integrated commercial structures.
• Develop commercial constructs for retained, transitioned, outsourced, or changed services.
• Advise on commercial governance mechanisms for multi-provider delivery.
• Support the development of pricing mechanisms and economic drivers.
• Advise on performance and incentive structures to align with service outcomes.
• Identify and recommend allocation of material commercial risks.
• Develop negotiation strategies and support commercial negotiations.

Mandatory Skills:
• Extensive experience in large-scale IT managed services or outsourcing transactions.
• Direct responsibility for commercial structuring and negotiation.
• Experience with complex IT services arrangements and multi-provider models.
• Strong knowledge of commercial governance and accountability structures.
• Experience in developing pricing mechanisms and managing economic drivers.
• Proven ability to advise on performance and incentive structures.
• Demonstrated experience in negotiation strategy and execution.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Professional credentials in commercial and contract management.
• Experience within public sector or healthcare environments.
• Familiarity with SIAM/service integration.
• Knowledge of IT service management frameworks.
• Experience in financial modeling and evaluation.

The contract is set for a duration until February 28, 2027, with potential for three 6-month extensions.
