Delivery Lead – Data & AI:
On behalf of our Transporation client, Procom is searching for a Delivery Lead – Data & AI for a 6-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.

Delivery Lead – Data & AI - Job Description:
Our client's Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence is seeking two Delivery Leads – Data & AI to take clear end-to-end accountability for delivering Data Engineering and Data Science & AI initiatives, from planning through execution. This is a senior delivery-leadership role focused on standardizing delivery practices and leveraging Azure DevOps for project tracking and QA integration.

Delivery Lead – Data & AI - Responsibilities:
• Own delivery of assigned Epics and Features from design through build, test, production transition, and warranty
• Lead sprint and release planning using evidence-based capacity and estimation
• Facilitate refinement, planning, daily coordination, reviews, and retrospectives
• Lead through influence across teams and vendors
• Own the risk, assumption, issue, dependency, and decision log
• Keep Azure DevOps delivery data current and auditable

Delivery Lead – Data & AI - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of progressive technology delivery, program, project or Agile leadership experience
• 5+ years leading data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, ML, or AI delivery
• Demonstrated accountability for business Epics and Features
• Expert knowledge of Agile and lean delivery practices
• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps or a comparable platform
• Practical technical literacy in data pipelines, lakehouse/medallion patterns, and ML model lifecycles
• Exceptional organization, structured problem-solving, and executive communication skills

Delivery Lead – Data & AI – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience delivering on Microsoft Fabric or a comparable platform
• Experience in an airport, transportation, infrastructure, or regulated 24/7 environment
• Experience coordinating production releases and transition to a managed-service support provider
• PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe, or PRINCE2 certification
• Microsoft Azure, Fabric, Power BI, or Azure AI certifications

Delivery Lead – Data & AI – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with strong potential for extension.

Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role with a requirement of onsite presence a minimum of 3 days per week, including mandatory Thursdays.
