DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior - Job Description:
The Provincial Health Services Directory (PHSD) is enhancing its user experience and integration capabilities to support eReferral workflows within electronic medical record (EMR) environments. This role provides senior DevOps and platform engineering support for the PHSD eReferral solution, maintaining reliable build, deployment, infrastructure, runtime, and operational capabilities across AWS environments.

DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance GitHub Actions pipelines for application and infrastructure components
• Create, update, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure as code using CloudFormation and AWS CDK
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot workloads on Amazon EC2 and Amazon ECS
• Troubleshoot issues with Tomcat, Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and Linux environments
• Deploy and maintain Mirth Connect integration engine in Amazon ECS
• Manage database operations, including PostgreSQL support
• Administer OpenSearch clusters and AWS messaging, streaming, and storage services
• Maintain NetIQ IAM integration and SMART on FHIR/OAuth configurations

DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Infrastructure-as-code experience using AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK
• Experience with AWS EC2, ECS, and Linux machine images
• PostgreSQL or comparable enterprise database administration
• Experience with Amazon OpenSearch Service clusters
• Mirth Connect integration engine deployment and maintenance
• Experience with NetIQ IAM and SMART on FHIR/OAuth configurations

DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with healthcare integration platforms
• Operational experience with SMART on FHIR and OAuth2/OIDC
• Familiarity with eReferral solutions such as Ocean/Novari/Ricoh
• Experience with Node.js applications in AWS environments
• Experience with IBM MDM or enterprise master data management platforms

DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior – Assignment Length:
The term of this Engagement Assignment is for 6 months.
