Senior DevOps Engineer
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a DevOps Engineer for a 6-month contract role. This position is 100% remote.

Job Description:
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Core Platforms team and help advance our CI/CD capabilities, deployment automation, and platform reliability. In this role, you will design and implement GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines that enable development teams to deliver high-quality software quickly, safely, and consistently. You will play a critical role in standardizing GitHub Actions workflows, improving release reliability, and optimizing the developer experience across our platforms. You will partner closely with engineering, QA, and platform teams to drive adoption of modern CI/CD practices, reduce operational friction, and ensure secure, scalable deployment processes.


Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Develop and manage reusable workflow templates and shared GitHub actions
• Optimize pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Implement workflow orchestration, including parallelization and dependency management
• Standardize CI/CD practices across multiple repositories and teams
• Automate build, test, release, and deployment processes
• Monitor CI/CD pipeline health and performance

Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related experience
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows (.yml files)
• Experience building and maintaining end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Git and modern Git workflows
• Strong expertise in CI/CD concepts and workflow design
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Node.js

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from Jenkins or Bitbucket to GitHub Actions
• Experience building enterprise-scale CI/CD standards or platform tooling
• Familiarity with GitOps practices
• Familiarity with security scanning tools (SAST, dependency scanning)
• DevOps-related certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, etc.)

Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for one extension.
