Digital Product Designer:
On behalf of our Digital Design client, Procom is searching for a Digital Product Designer for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Digital Product Designer - Job Description:
The Digital Product Designer will be involved in developing and enhancing digital products to improve user experience and align with brand values. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create design artifacts and integrate user research into product designs.

Digital Product Designer - Responsibilities:
• Actively participate in discussions on Digital Product Design strategy, providing advice and recommendations
• Collaborate with team members to plan and coordinate Digital Product Design projects of medium complexity
• Create design artifacts, such as sketches, wireframes, and prototypes
• Develop and refine non-textual content, ensuring consistency and accessibility
• Present Digital Product Design work to Product and Design teams
• Support cross-functional teams in informing design decisions through research discussions and data analysis
• Assist in developing and refining Digital Product Design solutions by contributing to user flows and prototypes

Digital Product Designer - Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in Figma and understanding of AI tools
• Degree or Diploma in Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related discipline
• Experience in Service Design
• Portfolio that includes application design samples
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing usable interfaces across multiple channels and platforms
• Experience in an applied research setting
• Expertise with design, prototyping, and research tools such as Figma, Mural, UserTesting.com

Digital Product Designer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• MA/MS degree or certification in Design, HCI, or related field
• Strong understanding of research methods and their application during product phases
• Appreciation for 'design thinking'
• Experience working within a large organization and agile environment

Digital Product Designer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

ASAP.

Digital Product Designer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days in the office.
