Director of IT

Overview
Lead the organization’s IT strategy and operations to deliver secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective technology. Own infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, vendors, and modernization initiatives that support business growth.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the IT roadmap aligned to business goals.
• Lead digital transformation and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Oversee network, cloud, server, and endpoint environments; ensure uptime, performance, and scalability.
• Own disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Establish security policies, manage risk/vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance/privacy requirements.
• Manage the IT budget and vendor contracts; track SLAs and optimize spend.
• Lead and develop the IT team; set goals and drive accountability/continuous improvement.

Key metrics
Uptime/availability, incident reduction, MTTR, project delivery, budget adherence, user satisfaction, adoption, audit results.
