Director IT Operations:
On behalf of our Information Technology client, Procom is searching for a Director IT Operations for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Addison, Illinois office.

Director IT Operations - Job Description:
The Director of IT Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for the division’s technology operations. The role is focused on ensuring the reliability, security, scalability, and resilience of IT infrastructure and services to support a distributed, field-based business.

Director IT Operations - Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the divisional IT operations strategy and multiyear roadmap.
• Lead infrastructure, cloud, network, communications, end-user services, and security operations.
• Translate Group IT standards into actionable divisional plans.
• Oversee the availability and performance of Azure infrastructure and network services.
• Lead workforce planning and performance management.
• Ensure operational cybersecurity and business continuity readiness.
• Develop the IT operations budget and manage vendor relationships.

Director IT Operations - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Eight or more years of progressive IT infrastructure or operations experience.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing technology budgets.
• Strong executive communication and organizational leadership skills.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and ITSM platforms.
• Experience in operational cybersecurity and disaster recovery.
• Experience supporting distributed or field-based organizations.

Director IT Operations – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in a Microsoft and Azure enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Cisco communications.
• ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, cloud, or security certifications.
• Experience with SolarWinds Service Desk or ServiceNow.
• Experience operating within a federated model.

This is a permanent position.
