Drafting Coordinator (Intermediate):
On behalf of our Energy client, Procom is searching for a Drafting Coordinator (Intermediate) for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Houston, Texas office.

Drafting Coordinator (Intermediate) - Job Description:
The Drafting Coordinator (Intermediate) will serve as a crucial liaison between internal drafting resources, external service providers, and TransCanada's Project Managers and Engineers. This role involves working on standard and moderately complex technical assignments, requiring considerable technical expertise to support project development and execution.

Drafting Coordinator (Intermediate) - Responsibilities:
• Participate as a liaison between internal drafting resources, external service providers, and project managers/engineers
• Collaborate with the Design Oversight Team in preparing preliminary layouts, process flow diagrams (PFD), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
• Review drafting requirements and expectations to ensure compliance with TransCanada and project drafting standards
• Provide required documents to project engineers or coordinators for reference in the design basis memorandum (DBM)
• Check CAD files into the FileNet Working Library and verify drawings are correctly loaded
• Advise project engineers or coordinators when libraries are up-to-date and complete

Drafting Coordinator (Intermediate) - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong technical expertise in drafting and design
• Experience with CAD software and FileNet systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with drafting standards and procedures

Drafting Coordinator (Intermediate) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in the energy sector
• Knowledge of process flow diagrams (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
• Ability to develop new procedures and improve existing practices

Drafting Coordinator (Intermediate) – Assignment Length:
12 month contract
