DF&O Data Analyst

On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a DF&O Data Analyst for a contract role through the remainder of 2026, with potential for extension. This position is hybrid at our client's Calgary office.

DF&O Data Analyst - Job Description:
The DF&O Data Analyst will be responsible for understanding the system tables and data model within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and for partnering with the client's Business Analysts to map business data to the correct tables. This role involves supporting data mapping, validation, and reporting needs across the platform.

DF&O Data Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Analyze table structures, entities, and data relationships within D365 F&O
• Partner with Business Analysts to map business requirements to the correct F&O tables and fields
• Support data migration, integration, and reporting initiatives by identifying source-to-target mappings
• Validate data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies between business processes and system data
• Create and maintain data mapping documentation and data dictionaries
• Support data-related change requests and enhancements alongside technical and functional teams
• Handle ad hoc data extraction, analysis, and reporting requests using D365 F&O data

DF&O Data Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or Dynamics AX) system tables, entities, and data model
• Experience mapping business data to ERP system tables and fields
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data within F&O
• Experience partnering with Business Analysts or functional teams on data requirements
• Strong analytical and documentation skills

DF&O Data Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization/reporting tools
• Familiarity with D365 F&O data entities, DMF (Data Management Framework), or integration tools
• Background in Finance/Accounting business processes (GL, AP, AR, Inventory)
• Prior experience supporting data migration projects in an ERP environment

DF&O Data Analyst – Assignment Length:
3 month contract.
