On behalf of our Enterprise client, Procom is searching for an Engineering Manager – Applications, BI & AI for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, ON office

Engineering Manager – Applications, BI & AI - Job Description:
The Engineering Manager will lead technical teams in application development, business intelligence, and AI-enabled engineering practices. The role involves managing engineers and analysts, ensuring solution quality, and integrating AI into daily operations.

Engineering Manager – Applications, BI & AI - Responsibilities:
• Directly manage application developers and BI analysts, including coaching and performance management.
• Own technical architecture and design of applications and BI solutions.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point while promoting team autonomy.
• Ensure BI solutions are insight-driven and aligned with business needs.
• Embed AI tools into development and analytics workflows.
• Partner with PMO on delivery execution and translate business needs into technical solutions.

Engineering Manager – Applications, BI & AI - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong skills in Imanage, Outlook, 0365, Azure, MS Teams, and Cisco VPN.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Strong background in application development and solution architecture.
• Experience in delivering BI and analytics solutions.
• Proven people leadership experience.
• Experience with AI tools integration in workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Engineering Manager – Applications, BI & AI – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in a professional services or law firm environment. 
• Familiarity with MFA and end-user support.
• Experience with SDLC efficiency improvement.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted engineering practices.
• Experience with local decision-making empowerment.
