Bilingual AML Investigator:
On behalf of our Professional Services client, Procom is searching for a Bilingual AML Investigator for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto or Montreal office.

Bilingual AML Investigator - Job Description:
Our client's financial crimes professionals assist clients in identifying vulnerabilities that could be exploited by money launderers and terrorist financiers. This role involves conducting AML/KYC reviews and performing enhanced due diligence activities.

Bilingual AML Investigator - Responsibilities:
• Conduct periodic, quarterly, and/or annual AML/KYC reviews using client systems such as SAS, Actimize, and Oracle
• Perform enhanced due diligence activities like open-source searches, negative media, and/or name screening
• Perform investigations and transaction analysis
• Identify red flags or unusual patterns of activity indicative of criminal activity
• Complete reports for regulators based on findings when necessary
• Prepare case documentation as per client procedures
• Work with a team to meet production targets depending on the specific project

Bilingual AML Investigator - Mandatory Skills:
• Ability to speak and write in French / English
• 2+ years of AML Investigation experience
• Experience managing alerts and navigating investigation processes in a Financial Intelligence Unit environment
• Experience filing suspicious transaction reports to FINTRAC
• Understanding of industry common screening and transaction monitoring tools such as SAS, Actimize, Oracle, World-check, Lexis Nexis, Refinitiv

Bilingual AML Investigator – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS)
• Experience in handling High Risk profiles cases
• Experience performing demarketing and/or remediation projects

Bilingual AML Investigator – Assignment Length:
6-month contract to start
