On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for an Enterprise Monitoring / Infrastructure Analyst for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.
Enterprise Monitoring / Infrastructure Analyst - Job Description:
Our client is seeking an Enterprise Monitoring / Infrastructure Analyst to administer and optimize the enterprise IT and OT SolarWinds environment. The role involves ensuring strong visibility, alerting, reporting, and operational coordination across servers, cloud platforms, datacenter systems, and core infrastructure services.
Enterprise Monitoring / Infrastructure Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Own and administer the Enterprise IT and OT SolarWinds platform, including maintenance, upgrades, configuration, and lifecycle management.
• Monitor infrastructure health across servers, cloud workloads, virtualization, storage, and core platform services.
• Design and refine alerts, thresholds, and event correlation to improve signal quality and reduce noise.
• Coordinate incident response for monitoring-related issues impacting infrastructure services.
• Analyze performance trends, capacity indicators, and operational data to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Build and maintain dashboards, operational reporting, and service performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and OT teams to define monitoring standards and expand observability coverage.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, knowledge articles, and platform standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including automation, predictive monitoring, and observability enhancements.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training on monitoring tools and best practices.
Enterprise Monitoring / Infrastructure Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Strong SolarWinds administration experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure systems (servers, cloud workloads, virtualization, storage, datacenter services).
• Hands-on Microsoft Azure administration experience (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, VMs, Entra ID).
• Windows Server administration, patching, performance monitoring, and operational support.
• Experience with incident, problem, and event management processes.
• Ability to design alerts, manage thresholds, correlate events, and drive remediation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and OT teams.
Enterprise Monitoring / Infrastructure Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• ServiceNow integration and ITSM experience.
• PowerShell scripting, REST APIs, and infrastructure automation.
• High availability, disaster recovery, and resiliency experience.
• Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
• Knowledge of Microsoft AI technologies, Copilot, Azure AI services.

The contract duration is from ASAP to December 15, 2026, with a possibility of extension.
