ETL Developer with GCP:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an ETL Developer with GCP for a 6.5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

ETL Developer with GCP - Job Description:
The project supports a strategic AML AI initiative for Tangerine, integrating data into existing AML processes. The role involves sourcing, transforming, and preparing data to align with business requirements, ensuring seamless integration into AML applications and supporting AI-driven AML models.

ETL Developer with GCP - Responsibilities:
• Design and implement scalable data architectures, analytical models, and cloud-native data platforms.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data processing.
• Build and manage orchestration workflows.
• Optimize data storage, query performance, and processing efficiency.
• Enable reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions using modern visualization platforms.
• Support DevOps and CI/CD practices for data platforms, including containerization and cloud deployment workflows.
• Contribute to AI and machine learning data workflows, including preparation of training-ready datasets and prompt-enabled prototyping.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and metadata management standards are met.

ETL Developer with GCP - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and analytics delivery.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience working with BigQuery.
• Experience with Cloud Composer/Apache Airflow.

ETL Developer with GCP – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in database development.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, SQL.
• Experience with Dataflow, Dataproc, DBT, Databricks.

ETL Developer with GCP – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is from ASAP to the end of January 2027, approximately 6.5 months.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 3-4 days in the office based on business needs.
