Expeditor II:
On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for an Expeditor II for a 12-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Houston office, 77079.

Expeditor II - Job Description:
The Expeditor II will support the Supply Chain function by expediting and tracking deliverables for assigned items, ensuring on-time readiness and delivery in line with project schedules. This role involves building strong relationships with stakeholders, managing vendor documentation, and resolving any logistical issues that may arise.

Expeditor II - Responsibilities:
• Support and manage assigned equipment/material for timely delivery
• Assist with vendor documentation management and approval processes
• Review vendor fabrication schedules and mitigate delays
• Notify stakeholders of potential or actual delays and resolve issues
• Schedule and manage vendor supply meetings and attend project meetings
• Report on equipment/material status and progress
• Assist in invoice verification and resolve freight claims
• Communicate commercial and technical issues to project teams
• Coordinate logistics and readiness for equipment delivery
• Maintain expediting files for PO/Contract closeouts

Expeditor II - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of expediting best practices and logistics
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Coordination and multi-tasking abilities
• Customer service and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of Engineering and Vendor Documentation
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Expeditor II – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of MS Windows/Outlook and Office Suite
• Post-secondary education in Project Management, Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, or related fields
