Job Description

On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for an Expeditor (Senior) for a 24-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Houston office.

Expeditor Senior - Job Description:
The project involves managing and expediting the procurement and delivery processes of complex engineered items for the Business Unit client. The Expeditor will ensure that materials and equipment are delivered on time and meet the required specifications, addressing any unforeseen changes or impacts from both the Supplier and Business Unit Client perspectives.

Expeditor Senior - Responsibilities:
• Obtain and monitor Supplier's planned schedule and actual progress
• Update and distribute the Material Status Report (MSR)
• Monitor sub-Supplier progress for milestone payment purposes
• Verify material Required on Site (ROS) dates and confirm Ready to Ship (RTS) dates
• Compare ROS and RTS dates with estimated transportation time
• Address unforeseen changes and impacts
• Obtain recovery plans for forecast late deliveries
• Liaise with Freight team for specific transportation plans
• Ensure Material Receiving Report (MRR) is issued without OS&D items
• Resolve OS&D issues with Supplier and TransCanada or third-party personnel

Expeditor Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing or assembling processes
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Proficiency in monitoring and updating schedules

Expeditor Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Familiarity with TransCanada processes
• Experience with logistics and freight coordination
• Knowledge of procurement systems
• Experience with material receiving processes

Expeditor Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 24-month contract position.
