Intermediate Software Developer:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for an Intermediate Software Developer for a 7-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 1 day onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Intermediate Software Developer - Job Description:
This project involves code vulnerability remediation for production systems. The developer will identify, fix, test, and deploy software vulnerabilities, ensuring the system's integrity and security.

Intermediate Software Developer - Responsibilities:
• Work from a prioritized list of software vulnerabilities to identify, fix, test, and deploy solutions
• Write additional unit tests and ensure end-to-end test pass
• Obtain necessary MR approvals and follow client's change management processes
• Use client standard pipeline tools for production deployment
• Complete paperwork for mitigations or false positive identification
• Update progress daily through the provided tracking tool
• Utilize client sanctioned AI tooling to improve processes and find efficiencies

Intermediate Software Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• Development experience in Java, Node, Python
• Experience using a CICD source code and deployment platform, e.g., GitLab
• Experience building and maintaining APIs
• Experience building and running automated tests
• Ability to communicate effectively with other technical team members

Intermediate Software Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with React, JavaScript, SpringBoot
• Experience with AI tooling for code generation
• Full stack programming framework experience
• Knowledge of application lifecycle and design
• Source code management with GitLab or GitHub

Intermediate Software Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 7-month contract position ending on January 31, 2027.with chance of extension.

Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 1 day per month onsite.
