Senior Chemistry Production Engineer:
On behalf of our Water Solutions client, Procom is searching for a Senior Chemistry Production Engineer for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Fort Myers, Florida office.

Senior Chemistry Production Engineer - Job Description:
The Senior Chemistry Production Engineer will serve as the technical owner of reagent manufacturing operations, ensuring chemical formulations are produced safely and consistently at scale. The role involves maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory requirements while supporting reliable production and continuous improvement.

Senior Chemistry Production Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering leadership and technical oversight of chemistry reagent manufacturing processes.
• Support daily production operations by monitoring process performance and addressing technical issues.
• Lead root cause investigations for production deviations and customer complaints.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with quality systems.
• Support GMP documentation, process validation records, and material traceability requirements.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to production personnel.

Senior Chemistry Production Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or production engineering.
• Strong background in chemical formulation manufacturing and wet chemistry processes.
• Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with experience in root cause analysis.

Senior Chemistry Production Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with drinking water or wastewater chemical analysis instrumentation.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement tools.
• Six Sigma training or certification.
• Bilingual Spanish language skills.
