Field Technician Lead Level 1:
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Field Technician Lead Level 1 for multiple contract roles in WINNIPEG, MB. Technicians will need to have their own vehicles for site work across respective cities, mileage will be reimbursed.

Field Technician Lead Level 1 - Job Description:
We are seeking a Field Technician Lead Level 1 to join our team and provide on-site technical support, installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various systems. The role involves working with low-voltage cabling, fiber optics, access control, CCTV, antennas, point-of-sale systems, and digital displays to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Field Technician Lead Level 1 - Responsibilities:
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at client locations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions under supervision.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Document service activities and report findings to senior technicians or management.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and provide basic training on equipment usage.
• Follow company safety guidelines and industry standards while working on-site.
• Install, terminate, and test CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic cables.
• Install and maintain access control systems and CCTV & surveillance systems.

Field Technician Lead Level 1 - Mandatory Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or IT systems.
• Ability to use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Field Technician Lead Level 1 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Post-secondary education in a technical field.
• Experience with structured cabling and fiber optics.
• Familiarity with security and networking systems.
• Experience with POS systems and digital displays.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.

Field Technician Lead Level 1 - Start Date:
ASAP.

Field Technician Lead Level 1 - Duration:
3 months with potential extension
