Field Validation and Quantity Surveyor:
On behalf of our consulting client, Procom is searching for a Field Validation and Quantity Surveyor for a 12-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Langley, BC project site.

Field Validation and Quantity Surveyor - Job Description:
The project involves supporting a major public infrastructure organization in the Greater Vancouver area with a large-scale capital infrastructure expansion program valued at approximately $1 billion. The role focuses on field validation and quantity surveying for this capital project, ensuring accurate construction reporting and commercial governance.

Field Validation and Quantity Surveyor - Responsibilities:
• Provide independent field-informed validation of construction quantities and hours, site claims, and contractor-reported physical progress and productivity
• Support invoice reviews, change management, and overall commercial governance
• Deliver data-driven insights to enhance construction reporting, forecasting, and decision-making

Field Validation and Quantity Surveyor - Mandatory Skills:
• Intermediate to Senior experience in field verification, quantity surveying, or construction quantity validation
• Direct capital-project and construction/infrastructure experience
• Experience on municipal/government, public infrastructure or utility, or large complex capital programs
• Ability to work onsite at the project site full-time

Field Validation and Quantity Surveyor – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Wastewater or water-treatment project experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Experience with accessible infrastructure projects

Field Validation and Quantity Surveyor – Assignment Length:
The initial contract term is approximately 12 months, with potential extension up to 28 months based on performance and project needs.
