Financial Analyst, P&L – MS Excel/VB
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Financial Analyst, P&L – MS Excel/VB for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office. 

Financial Analyst, P&L – MS Excel/VB - Job Description:
This role involves ensuring the accounts and financial records of the bank’s commodities and foreign exchange businesses are maintained according to International Financial Reporting Standards. The Financial Analyst will produce quality financial management information to the business line, including accurate portfolio level P&L and balance sheet reporting.

Financial Analyst, P&L – MS Excel/VB - Responsibilities:
• Ensure accounts and financial records are maintained according to standards
• Produce accurate daily/weekly/monthly/yearly portfolio level P&L
• Prepare actual and risk-based attributions by portfolio
• Continuously review and improve desk procedures
• Understand and consider the Trading Desk’s risk appetite and culture

Financial Analyst, P&L – MS Excel/VB - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst
• Solid understanding of accounting and mark-to-market accounting
• Thorough knowledge of derivative, lending, and inventory products
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel

Financial Analyst, P&L – MS Excel/VB – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Understanding of bank reporting requirements
• Experience with Power BI
• Experience with Excel Visual Basic
• UNIX experience

Financial Analyst, P&L – MS Excel/VB – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is 6 months with the possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.
