Financial Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Financial Analyst for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Financial Analyst - Job Description:
The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Canadian Retail Banking line of business by managing portfolios related to personal deposits and retail lending. A key focus will be on a transformation initiative, translating existing financial processes and models into Anaplan as part of a migration to a cloud-based solution.

Financial Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with senior management to implement updates and maintain financial/data models
• Execute monthly roll-overs ensuring accurate data ingestion
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
• Prepare financial presentations for business review
• Collect and process data to support inquiries from business groups
• Generate reports for distribution to various business units
• Demonstrate flexibility in taking on new challenges and ad hoc projects

Financial Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance-related discipline
• Experience in Financial Modeling & Data Analysis
• High proficiency in MS Office Apps, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Investigative and problem-solving approach
• Versatile and adaptive to various tasks
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Minimal ramp-up, ready to start on the project

Financial Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Experience with PowerBI or SQL

Financial Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with a possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.
