Financial Data Validation Analyst:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Financial Data Validation Analysts for a 15-day contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Financial Data Validation Analyst - Job Description:
Our client is seeking five temporary resources to support a time-sensitive budget disclosure initiative. These positions will be responsible for reviewing large volumes of financial and budget information to ensure personal information is appropriately identified and redacted prior to disclosure.

Financial Data Validation Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Review large volumes of budget, financial, and transaction-level data for disclosure purposes.
• Identify and redact personal information in accordance with established privacy and disclosure guidelines.
• Apply defined redaction criteria consistently and accurately across multiple datasets.
• Review and remove information such as system user names, employee numbers, employee names, and names of external individuals appearing within vendor records or other financial system fields.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to verify the accuracy and completeness of redactions.
• Maintain the integrity and usability of underlying financial information during the review process.
• Document findings, issues, and exceptions as required.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with project team members and subject matter experts to resolve questions related to disclosure requirements.

Financial Data Validation Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Three years' experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Three years' experience in data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and sensitive information.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately with financial, budget, or transactional data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data-review tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Financial Data Validation Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Recent experience working in the role of a Business/System Analyst.
• Experience reviewing, validating, or quality-checking large volumes of data.
• Experience in municipal, public sector, financial, accounting, or records-management environments.
• Knowledge of privacy legislation, information disclosure requirements, or records management practices.
• Experience with data redaction, quality assurance, or audit-related work.

Financial Data Validation Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 15-day (3 weeks) contract position.
