Job Description

BMO is currently sourcing for a Freelance Financial Literacy Facilitator to support ultra high net worth families. This is an in-person contract role across Canadian markets with engagements scheduled on an ad hoc basis.

Role Overview:
The Financial Literacy Facilitator will deliver engaging financial literacy workshops for children and young adults from ultra high net worth families. The role focuses on creating customized, interactive learning experiences that simplify complex financial concepts, fostering understanding of money management, investing, and long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-person financial literacy workshops for middle school, high school, and post-secondary audiences.
- Tailor delivery style and content to different age groups and knowledge levels.
- Create a high-touch, engaging learning environment that meets the expectations of ultra high net worth families.
- Utilize relatable stories and interactive activities to explain key financial concepts.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure alignment on session objectives and messaging.
- Manage logistics for in-person sessions and prepare necessary materials.
- Provide feedback on workshop content and suggest enhancements for better engagement.

Must-Have Skills:
- Strong knowledge of personal finance, investing, and wealth management.
- Proven experience in delivering workshops or educational sessions to youth and young adults.
- Exceptional storytelling and facilitation skills to convey complex financial ideas simply.
- High professionalism and discretion suitable for ultra high net worth clientele.
- Willingness to travel and operate in various Canadian markets.

Nice to Have Skills:
- Visible online presence or following through digital platforms such as podcasts and social media.
- Experience working with family offices or ultra high net worth clients.
- Bilingual capabilities in English and French, particularly advantageous for Quebec.
- Ability to connect with diverse age demographics, including teens and young professionals.

Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrates a knack for engaging younger audiences in both digital and live formats.
- Possesses a versatile profile suitable for delivering to different audience segments.
- Has a strong track record of adaptability in educational delivery styles based on audience needs.

Qualifications

Bilingual capabilities in English and French, particularly advantageous for Quebec.: 2 - 5 years (Desired)
Strong knowledge of personal finance, investing, and wealth management.: 3 - 5 years (Required)
