Job Description
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role provides inspections, sells, and services a variety of fire suppression components, including fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and other fire products, in a professional and timely manner. You will also keep a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensure a safe environment for yourself, your coworkers, and customers.
This position is based out of the Williston, Vermont district office. The ideal candidate is located in the Central VT area.
Responsibilities:
- Manage your time to complete the maximum number of service calls while maintaining a high level of quality
- Achieve weekly productivity goals assigned by the Branch Manager
- Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain any licensing and certification required by national, state, and local codes
- Work safely as outlined by company safety procedures, including driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tagout policies
- Maintain your vehicle in accordance with company procedures and keep it clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Experience selling and servicing fire suppression components, including fire extinguishers, emergency lights, and other fire products, is a plus
- Ability to learn applicable inspection and servicing codes
- Ability to learn and understand general electrical safety procedures
- Valid driver's license and a current, sustainable good driving record
- Satisfactory results on a company-mandated criminal background check and drug test
- Strong work ethic and professional appearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- An electrical background, or a basic level of comfort and knowledge with electrical work
